XYZ Axis Seed – Controlled Transform Variation for Blender
For years, this blog has supported my science fiction writing — the deliberate process of building worlds with internal logic and structure.
In that same vein, I gravitated toward Blender. As my work there evolved, I needed something similar in 3D space: structure with flexibility.
When I work with repeated elements — architectural blocks, design components, or structured arrays — I found that exact placement wasn’t guaranteed. Individual vertex adjustments and basic seed inputs introduced inconsistencies. What I needed was precision at the placement level, combined with variation that respected structure.
That led to the development of XYZ Axis Seed.
What It Does
XYZ Axis Seed provides axis-level transform control using a seed-driven system.
It allows controlled variation across:

Because variation is seed-based, outcomes are reproducible. You can experiment freely while maintaining structural integrity.

XYZ Axis Seed has been submitted to the Blender Extensions platform and is currently pending review.
